Student Enterprise Awards '16
1st place
In 2016, I placed 1st in the Student Enterprise Awards Limerick with my graphic design business, Goodie Graphics. I started Goodie Graphics at 11, selling logos and business card designs. Over the years, I grew to over 200 happy customers from all corners of the globe.
Student Enterprise Awards '17
1st place
I received this award for my educational app, PocketKnow. PocketKnow was a tool for Junior Cert students looking for a library of content relevant to the curriculum. It rose to the top 10 of the Educational app charts in Ireland. To accompany the free app, I sold flashcards that could be scanned by a user to see 3D models of curriculum-based content appear in Augmented Reality. I placed 1st in Limerick for the second year in a row, and placed 2nd nationally.
BT Young Scientist '17
Irish Science Teachers' Award
I also entered PocketKnow's Augmented Reality flashcards into BT Young Scientist. That year I won the ISTA Special Award and was subsequently featured in their monthly magazine.
